Traveling to/from MEM

MEM is located roughly seven miles southeast of downtown Memphis. This relatively proximity is noted by city officials and thus they have provided many quick and easy ways to access downtown from the airport. However, take note that travel times within the inner city may substantially increase during peak afternoon hours. Be wary if you need to travel around 5 p.m. or during afternoon hours on the weekend. You may need to schedule extra time for traffic.
