Are you planning a business trip to Dallas? This article offers ample information on business travel that you will find useful.
Flying to/from Dallas directly or via New York
Dallas has two major airports, Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL). If you’re flying directly to Dallas from London, your itinerary will take you to Fort Worth International Airport. Located between Dallas and Fort Worth, DFW is the third busiest airport in the world and among the largest in the United States. Business travelers are most likely to travel through here. DFW has five airport terminals, each designed as a circle. It is a hub for American Airlines, but many other airlines fly into DFW, including Delta and United.
Flight costs depend on when you are booking, where you are flying from, and who you are flying with. British Airways offers direct flights from Heathrow to DFW for about $1000. A flight with one or more stops is usually cheaper; British Airways has offers below $700. Many business travelers enter Dallas from New York. Both Delta and United offer flights under $80 from New York La Guardia Airport to DFW.
Dallas Love Field Airport is smaller but close to Dallas’s business district downtown. Its amenities are therefore suited for the needs of executive and corporate travelers. Love Field is served by major airlines including Southwest, United, and Delta. If you have a stopover and are traveling to Dallas from New York or another American city, your itinerary is likely to take you through Love Field. You can purchase flights from La Guardia or JFK New York airport to DAL for about $100.

There are plenty of ways to get from DFW to downtown Dallas. The easiest way to travel downtown is via a shared-ride shuttle because these services offer door to door transport.
